Pam's life changed dramatically
in 1992 at the age of 42. She made a major life
transition as she changed her career.
From being
at the top of her profession as an Art Director
she launched into her true vocation as an astrologer,
healer and seminar leader.
Without knowing at the time,
she had started on a spiritual journey. It has
taken her to the exotic islands of Hawaii, the
mountains and forests of Vancouver and the awesome
red rock of Sedona, Arizona. And eventually,
India.
Her search was to understand
her life and to find peace of mind.
The death of her father that
year had made her aware of a deep discontent
with her life. She was inspired to go on a
workshop on Intuition. To her amazement she
had an 'Ah' experience and was told 'you'll
be a great astrologer'. It was like winning
the lottery, the finger from Heaven saying
'yes, you'. In that moment she surrendered
to the Muse of astrology.
As every astrologer knows, this
is no easy task. It's a full time study. There
is always more to discover. Astrology encompasses
astronomy, philosophy, psychology and mythology.
It stretches the mind and the imagination and
it changes perception.
To work with the stars is to touch the face of the gods and goddesses, to connect with the ancient stories of the sky. It's a never ending quest to find out how the psyche, the soul of the Universe works! And just as every person is unique, so every birth chart is a blueprint, a map of the soul’s journey in this lifetime.
Her healing journey brought
her into the depths of herself, to the underworld
of death and grief that began as a personal story.
Though her training with the Psychology of Vision
in Canada, Hawaii and the UK, she found the experience
of grace and a realisation that joy comes from
within. With grace, miracles can happen, and
the tears of pain transformed into happiness.
Pam was led to study Vedic astrology
through friendship. She met Kay, a Canadian woman,
at The Astrology Eclipse Conference in Plymouth
in 1999. Their shared experience of the eclipse
was profound and deeply meaningful. Trusting
her friend, Pam travelled to the Vedic Conference
in Sedona, Arizona in January 2000. Pam opened
up to the joys of an astrology which speaks to
her heart and soul. Jyotish means 'the science
of light'.
Her vision is that all can be
awakened to their Spirit, to their true beauty,
that for everyone to step into their true self
and shine their inner light would be Heaven on
Earth.
