Chiron says:- The Wound contains a Gift
On 9th February 21st 2011 Chiron The Shaman, the Rainbow Bridge and planet of Healing changed sign into Pisces. It stays for 8 years until 2019.
Retrograding in 2011, it stations on November 10th- just after the Full Moon- at 0 degrees of Pisces. This is important as it will make an opposition to Mars and favourable aspects to all of the outer planets – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
What is the message that this Archetype of The Wounded Healer wants to give us in this sign?
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, compassionate and empathic. However it also has issues around being a victim and martyr and can easily go into sacrifice. Healing these issues is vitally important.
Chiron in Pisces can be a sense of being forsaken by God, a desolate place of anguish and deep spiritual wounding. The search is to find bliss and connection with the Source, which is an inner journey.
Chiron in our birth chart shows us where we are wounded and also where we can heal others.
It governs the sign of Virgo and our body/ mind connection, and also Sagittarius as the centaur.
Chiron was a Priest King, half horse and half divine. He taught The Mysteries to his pupils and, and is The Spirtual Teacher archetype. His purpose was to bring each pupil to experience their own encounter with the divine.
When it was discovered in 1977 it was situated in Taurus, and the Sun was in Scorpio. Taurus is governed by Venus -the heart chakra, Scorpio by Mars- the 3rd chakra. Scorpio connects Chiron to the Shaman, who enters an altered consciousness -the symbolic Underworld -to bring back healing remedies. It also connects Chiron to psychotherapy.
In my research I believe it’s here to heal us on all 4 levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Now Jupiter is in Taurus, the physical world, pleasure, love and the heart chakra are being activated.
Chiron in Pisces is connected to the 2nd chakra and the signs of Jupiter- both Sagittarius and Pisces. This is the emotional centre, where we receive shocks and can go off our centres.
Chiron can heal, but it can also be a place of shame – the wound within that can hold us back. Or we can use it in a positive way to unlock our soul gifts which are vital for our soul purpose.
