My aim in my newsletters is to interpret what the planets are saying, to give an indication of where we are going in our journey through time and space.

Astrology is all about synchronicity. By observing what is happening above us, we can have a better understanding of what might happen below on earth. The maxim astrologers work with is 'as above, so below'.

1ST VOICE Sagittarius New Moon Nov 27th
The Month's Story Begins -Light Your Fire
Each New Moon sets a tone for the month - a mood - it has an element - you can call it a colour. The story begins. What sign it is in will indicate what area of your birth chart you are being asked to focus on and develop.

Sagittarius says Light My Fire -What inspires you?
This is passion, enthusiasm, and just as the Archer shoots the arrow upward, the mission of Sagittarians is to inspire. The colour is blue, like the sky. Blue governs the throat chakra, our second power centre. If we speak the truth others will listen. Blue is the colour of the peace. Sagittarius is The Visionary who is motivated by Truth and a connection to Spirit. This is The Teacher of God, 'Thy Will, not my will'.

What do you have faith in?
Are you a teacher? We all are. Every day we are communicating, every day we are setting an example by our actions and our thoughts. Every day we deciding to see if the glass is half full or half empty. So the question this month is to ask, what teacher are you following? What do you believe in?

2ND VOICE Mars joins the Sun in Sagittarius on Dec 5th
A New Quest Begins
As the planet Mars journeys through the sky it represents the hero’s quest. This quest changes every 26 months. When it is strongest it is opposite the Sun and dominates the night sky. The last Initiation was Dec 25th 2007 in the sign of Cancer.

Now Mars has become invisible as it conjoins the Sun. Symbolically it is going through a 'death' and rebirth. This is a seeding time. This is time to renew our purpose with true intention, with the Light of the Sun fortifying the desire to protect those who need our help.

Mars is The Warrior, our inner Hero. Mars is the Commander In Chief of the Army whose purpose is to support the King i.e. The Sun. In the sign of Sagittarius this is the Warrior raised to a higher level. This Mars is in service. This is the archetype of The Paladin, The Spiritual Warrior and Vision Quester. This is the Philosopher who is governed by the King of the Gods - Zeus (Jupiter). The Paladin illustration is from Chuck Spezzano's Archetype and Shadow Deck.

The shadow side of Mars in Sagittarius has been painfully demonstrated by the siege in Mumbai. This is the religious bigot, the terrorist who believes God is on his side.

Watch out for wilfulness this month, the places where you believe you are right. Remember -you can't be right and happy!

3RD VOICE Venus joins Jupiter and the Crescent Moon on December 1st
Great Good Fortune and The Divine Feminine
On December 1st we have the most beautiful sky show of the year. You might have noticed two bright 'stars' shining after sunset, in the west. They are Venus and Jupiter, the two most benefic planets - this beautiful grace filled combination is the best you can get!

Venus is the Goddess, she brings love and relationships and governs the heart. Jupiter is the largest and most bountiful planet and is the bringer of joy, happiness, expansion and good fortune.

This magical evening they will be joined by the crescent moon. This is the perfect time to wish upon a star.

Celebrate this day. It's a new beginning for Love. It has more astrological potency than the New Year. From the internet:-

Spectacular Conjunction
"At the end of the day, when the horizon is turning red and the zenith is cobalt-blue, step outside and look southwest. You'll see Venus and Jupiter beaming side-by-side through the twilight. 4TH VOICE Pluto in Capricorn: Rise of the Wise Woman
Pluto moved into this sign on Nov 27th- the day of the New Moon. It stays there until 2024. Pluto is like the bass drum in the orchestra - it sets the general background tone in the collective consciousness. Capricorn's symbol is the Mountain Goat. You will be called to step into your leadership and take centre stage if you have a strong Saturn or several planets in this sign.

Capricorn is a feminine earth sign
The feminine principle is about receiving. This is the archetype of The Matriarch, the Goddess as Wise Woman, the Elder. This is Leadership allied with the Divine. We can't get out of the financial mess we are in by old methods. We need to call on ancient wisdom and we need to open the 3rd Eye and connect with our intuition.

In Aura-Soma Capricorn is Royal Blue. This is a colour associated with royalty. It combines red- action, passion and groundedness, with blue- communication and guidance from heaven. This is time to invest in what you truly value. Time to be serious about your spiritual training and daily practise.

The mountain goat has evolved through time to be nimble and sturdy. It climbs step by step to the top of the mountain. It has agility and adapts to its perilous terrain.

1.Start building your life with small steps. Make goals that are realistic - that you believe are possible. Build a firm foundation.

2. If you are a coach, a therapist or a trainer this is time to step into your true position of leadership as an elder and mentor. As a friend of mine says "Time to put on our Big Girl Panties."

5TH VOICE Commitment precedes Vision
This is a lengthy quote but worth considering. Open to your Vision, Commit to your purpose. Invest in yourself.

"Visions are messages from the Great Spirit. To have a vision, one must be prepared to receive it, and when it comes, to accept it. When these inner urges become reality, only then can visions be fulfilled. The spiritual side of life knows everyone's heart and who to trust.
