As we pray for an Indian Summer there is some good news coming as the planetary weather is really changing and its improving! August has been a difficult month with two eclipses which always signify turbulence and sudden change.

The Olympics in Beijing summed up the power of Ketu which is eclipse energy. The magical opening ceremony was awesome. China has a Libran Sun and an Aquarian Moon. These was evident in the beauty of the pageant and by the stunning teamwork of the thousands of drummers and performers throughout.

All countries have birth charts. Communist China is Oct 1st 1949 15.15 Peking. However the faking  - by computers -of some of the fireworks was also the Neptunian illusion that was a strong theme of this eclipse. China's Sun is also conjunct Mercury, Neptune and Ketu. Just like Hollywood, the smoke and mirrors isn't always true, but it's a spectacular vision that totally uplifts the spirits.

GOOD NEWS FOR THE ECONOMY
Jupiter is moving forward on 8th September and Pluto follows suit on September 9th. Plus Saturn has moved away from a difficult part of the sky.  In Vedic Astrology we look at which lunar mansion a planet is travelling through to ascertain its effect in the world. Saturn has been travelling through a constellation ruled by Ketu which signifies loss. That was one of the reasons for the downward trend in the markets and the economy. Since July 28th it is in a lunar mansion ruled by Venus, a planet of wealth and luxuries.

GO FOR GOLD
The positive trine - a flow- of energy between Jupiter and Saturn is exact again on September 8th. It made this aspect on Jan 21st and will do it again on Nov 21st. In earth signs it truly is a really good combination to manifest, take a risk now and aim high. The Gold medal winners in the Olympics show what can be done with a combination of willpower, determination, discipline and vision. Gold is yours - it's time to invest in yourself - to take a magical leap into your future. And September is an ideal month to take that leap. The New Moon on August 30th marks this new beginning.

Mercury, the planet of communication will go retrograde on September 24th for 3 weeks. In western astrology its passing through Libra, so this is an excellent time for Librans to look at their image and revise how they want the world to see them.

In Vedic astrology Mercury will occupy the constellation of Virgo from August 25th until November 1st. Mercury will then be in its strongest sign. That is good news for us all as effective communication is the heart of good relationships. If you have been attacked then in some way you have sent out a negative energy. Practise the Hawaiian healing technique below, then speak out. Its only when we have no judgement on a person can we be truly heard.

STRENGTH TAROT CARD OF LEO AND NUMBER 8
The number 8 featured so strongly in the choice of the date of the Olympics. Strength is the Leo card. In this Rider Waite card we see how the innocent young woman has tamed the savage beast, showing how she has subdued her ego in favour of her Higher Self. The lemniscate s a symbol of the Holy Spirit and echoes The Magician card number 1 in its taming of the self. A T Mann gives the affirmation "My greatest fears and weakness provide the energy which enables me to express my higher self and reach my dreams."

In the Osho Zen it's called Courage. Osho speaks how when face with a very difficult situation we can either be resentful or face the challenge and grow.

CHRISTIAN THE LION - A STORY OF JOY
This extraordinary film on YouTube was sent to me by a wonderful friend. It's the story of a lion cub called Christian bought in Harrods by 2 guys who later released it back to Africa. The film shows their reunion a year later. Christian is now wild, the head of his pride.

It is a true story as she can testify. A good friend of hers saw this lion cub being walked down the Kings Road! Then, Harrods sold all sorts of wild animals. Those were the sixties! Click here to watch>

HO'O PONO PONO Hawaiian healing technique
On the workshop in July with Chuck Spezzano he helped us with a forgiveness exercise which has enormous power. Its a huna healing technique which is basically about loving oneself and forgiveness.

If you are having a problem with anyone in your life, visualise them (or even better look at a photo of them) and repeat the words:

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I love you."

The results might amaze you. The principle is that our world is our mirror. If someone is acting badly then they are our projection. Joe Vitale (he was in the film 'The Secret') says

“Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients –without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate’s chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person’s illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved."

My theme for this Workshop is inspired by the crisis that many of us are facing at this time.

On my monthly trainers conference call with Chuck Spezzano, he told us that we only have problems because we have fear. This was one of the findings of Dr. Milton Erickson who influenced NLP.

The major problem we have is that we are afraid to go to the next stage in our life. The greater the problem you are facing in your life the greater the leap forward that is just about to happen.

One of our biggest fears is that we think we can't handle the good stuff. The ego will fight  hardest and keep us locked into negative thinking and fear - if we let it. We can change our story, once we become aware of the hidden dynamics at work.

My passion is to help people get to the root of issues. Idols - the belief that something outside of us will make us happy - and conspiracies are prevalent at the moment. These are traps set up to stop us. They are foolproof , but not God proof.

I will be looking at these on my workshop. I am honoured that it has attracted some amazing people, travelling from as far away as Northern Ireland and the West Country. These are men and women who are focused on making a leap forward in their lives.
