Being a Visionary
Have you ever had a day when
you were in the flow?
In Psychology of Vision it's
described as the Vision state. In Vision we don’t
do it, it does us. An artist connects with Vision
when the painting comes though them, a sportsman
is ‘in the zone’, a manager reaches
new heights and becomes inspired with creativity
for their team.
The most successful leaders are
visionaries because they follow their intuition.
They are connected to their inner guide, the Higher
Mind which has all the answers.
In the last year two years the
movies, which reflect the collective unconscious,
have brought the Vision level dynamics into everyday
consciousness with the incredible popularity of
The Lord of the Rings. The story inhabits the world
of magic, of goblins and elves and shows us the
core fractures of the mind - the Great Wars and
Good versus Evil.
In astrology the part of us which
connects through the unconscious to the realm of
the Visionary is shown by the planet Neptune,
the Mystic which rules the sign Pisces.
The other planet which connects us to our Higher
Mind, our ideas which are inspired and come out
of the blue is Uranus
which rules Aquarius.
In January
2004 these two planets are in a mutual
reception for the next seven years until 2011.
Neptune continues to transit Aquarius and Uranus
is in the sign of Pisces. This means they start
to work together and that's good news. It allows
the flow of psychic inspiration, spiritual cognition
and understanding, inner visions and enlightenment.
But it’s
also important to realise that it’s a heady
cocktail it can produce ungroundedness and nervous
instability.
Uranus
is called an Awakener and liberator. It
brings unexpected change, but like a lightening
flash it can be disruptive. Discovered at the
time of The American War of Independence, The
French Revolution and The English Industrial
Revolution, it rules anarchy and independence.
Neptune rules the ocean and water, which at a
deep level, represents the collective unconscious.
Uranus has a seven year cycle,
and it acts as a trigger, awakening the energy
when it joins a natal planet. You'll notice a sudden
change in your life when it does this, or when
it moves over your rising sign or Midheaven. Click
