New Moon in Pisces- What are you absorbing?

It's as if the planet itself has an intake of breath.  This is inspiration time. For 3 days and nights the moon is invisible as it lies within the Sun, as if in the womb. It is taking in the energy of the Sun, our biggest Star. Its a time when new concepts can be conceived, new ideas can be born.

Uranus
This New Moon on March 7th is in Pisces and unites with Uranus, the planet of change and revolution. Uranus is also the Higher Mind so we are tuned into this energy all month until the next New Moon. Uranus is The Genius, The Magician and rules the aura, so if you have any planet at 16-18 degrees be aware of cleansing any negative energy.

The weather is turbulent in the UK with storms sweeping the south coast. Uranus is chaotic, this is a creative process but not necessarily always pleasant. Mars is currently opposite Pluto. Mars acts as a catalyst, its a very pushy energy and will trigger anger and anything Pluto wants to remain hidden. This is a like David versus Goliath.

Storm brings Change
The Storm Crystal Ally Card (pictured above) represents the most transformational of the elemental forces. It clears the air and drenches and renews the earth. It represents the need to destroy all that is not serving us. This destructive force uproots us, however it enables new experiences and creations to take root. It comes when there is stagnancy, a stalemate, when there is no longer movement towards our dreams. Old ego based beliefs can be shattered.

As the saying goes:- "If you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always got."

Imagine you're like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz and see yourself being set down in a new unexpected place of growth, learning and renewal.

The next main event
The Aries Equinox is on March 20th, then on Good Friday there is the full Moon. 4 planets form a dramatic aspect pattern called a Grand Cardinal Cross. They take the positions of the four cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. These mark the start of the 4 seasons of the year . This is the perfect time for a ritual that honours the Initiation of the Process of Creation. It will also bring issues out into the foreground. More in my next newsletter.

Be inspired this New Moon from March 7th-10th
"The cyclical period of the waxing and waning of the Moon has an important occult significance. It corresponds to the in-breathing and out-breathing of the planet itself. Just as certain psychic potentialities are associated with our own individual respiration, so there are potentialities associated with the 28 day period of the moon's rotation about the earth.

The act of inspiration lends power to any thought held in the mind.
The intake of prana strengthens the form of the thought or enables a new thought to be formed. When the breath is held prior to exhalation, the thought form consolidates. When we breathe out, the thought form can be driven outwards or directed to its target. At the moment of complete exhalation, the thought form may be destroyed or held latent.

When the Moon is waxing, it corresponds to the inbreathing of the planet and new concepts can be strengthened and built up.
For the three day period when the Moon is full, such concepts can be consolidated, then, during the waning of the Moon, the visualised patterns can be projected to their destination as blueprints for some venture or to reinforce a project that has already begun.

At the time of the Full Moon more light is shed upon the earth than at any other time in the 28 day cycle.
At that precise moment the Earth is placed under tremendous stress as it hangs suspended exactly between the Sun and the Moon, all three forming a straight line. Psychic instability shows itself in the unrest noted in mental hospitals and increase in criminal activity and public drunkenness at this time.

However it offers everyone who would take time at the Full Moon, an opportunity to share in the construction of ideals or in the planned destruction of established projects on a planetary scale." From Esoteric Astrology by Douglas Baker.

Pisces and the whale
Neptune is in the sign of Aquarius and Uranus is in the sign of Pisces. In astrology this is called a mutual reception, i.e. they exchange signs and energy. This cycle began in 2003 and lasts until 2010. It's the ideal time to embrace innovative methods of healing.

Pisces is a water sign and relates to homeopathy and flower essences. It's represented by the whale, which in the Medicine Wheel is the keeper of the Akashic records.

However the whale can swallow everything that is found in the sea - plastic bottles and coke cans included! Pisces needs the opposite sign of Virgo with the qualities of discrimination and discernment to balance it. Virgo says, look at what you are swallowing, read the instructions.

Tune into what the body needs. Purification is the theme, to allow the higher electric vibrations of Uranus to come in. Virgo governs digestion, so watch your alcohol, drug and junk food intake this month.

What's in the water you're drinking?
This month is an ideal time to look at our health, especially water and what we absorb though drinking and bathing in it.

Here in Brighton the local newspaper has confidently told us to drink tap water instead of bottled water as it costs less and is good for us. They are (rightly) concerned about the amount of unrecyclable plastic bottles that are being dumped.

Thoughts
What thoughts are you taking in? Are they thoughts of worry and fear, especially around money? It's vital to watch what your mind is focusing on and train it to change negative thinking. If you wake in the night then I urge you to read something that shifts your focus. I love astrology which always shows me why I'm caught. It offers me a way through. I always keep inspirational books by my bedside.
