Themes of the
New Year Chart 2008
MARS AND PLUTO OPPOSITION
Mars is the God of
War and Pkuto the God of the Underworld, so this
is a Power Struggle. This is seen in the world
as the conflict in Kenya as the year starts. This
also the assassination of Benazir Bhutto on Dec
27th 2007.
She was
born 21st June 1953, within a month of Tony Blair.
Both share a Saturn Neptune conjunction. This is
a combination that indicates the saviour, or martyr.
VENUS IN SAGITTARIUS
Rise of a political woman into power.
I predict that Hilary Clinton will win
in the US elections. She represents the old as she has the statesmanship
by being The First Lady. Her Jupiter is at 1 degree of Sagittarius, the exact
degree of Venus for the year. She also has a Mars/ Pluto /Saturn conjunction
which echoes the Mars/ Pluto opposition. This is a determined woman well
used to power.
MERCURY AND SATURN
These two planets are in each others signs. This bodes
well for serious commitment to speaking and communicating the truth.Learn about
the power of transformational communication.
JUPITER CONJUNCT THE SUN.
As Jupiter is a positive energy
this is a good conjunction. However Jupiter is weak in the sign of Capricorn.
Ruled by saturn it indicates that faith is needed this year and the need
for patience as things indicated by Jupiter- teaching, travel, higher education
and the maw, will take time to show results. Serious commitment is needed
to weather the economic storms of the year ahead.
JUPITER TRINES SATURN
The future meets the past, a year
to get real and be in the here and now.
ECONOMIC CYCLE This is a major conjunction of Jupiter
and Saturn and always marks the beginning of a new economic cycle. They last
joined on 28th May 2000 in the sign of Taurus, an earth sign. This year Saturn
again makes an aspect to Jupiter, now also in the element of earth. This is
a positive aspect and happens on January 21st.
Build on your successes
So often we fail to appreciate how far we've come on our journey. It's a good
time to reflect on the last year and celebrate all that you've achieved
in 2007. Think of the main areas of your life - relationships, spirituality
and work and ask yourself:-
What have you accomplished?
What are you proud of?
What have you healed? What new friendships have you formed?
What are you grateful for? |
