Stars for September 2007
The major news this month is that Saturn is now in the sign of Virgo where it stays for the next two and a half years.

Those born between Oct 1948- Dec 1950* and Aug 1978- Oct 1980 will be experiencing a Saturn return.

For everyone its a time to reflect back to 1978-1980 when this cycle will have some resemblance to that time in your life. If you are over 45 then you have the experience and maturity to better understand this transit.

Saturn is far happier in the earth sign of Virgo than it was in fiery Leo.  Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the communication planet and Saturn rules the structure of things. These next 2 and a half years are excellent for research, learning a new craft or trade, or honing your skills in a practical way. The other major news is the Solar Eclipse at the New Moon in Virgo on Sept 11th. Eclipses always mean change and any planet in your chart close to 18 degrees Virgo will show what area of your life will be affected. Solar eclipses sensitise this degree for the next 6 months. Added to this The Sun and Moon are opposite Uranus, the planet of revolution and radical change.

Virgo
Greet Saturn as you would an old best friend. It has a lot to teach you. This is a new chapter starting and by the end you will have become more mature and seen by others as the professional. You love to refine things to their basic structure and you love to be of use to others. this transit will find you at the forefront of healing others. This can be as a counsellor, a nurse, a dietician, or a decorator. You have to use your hands in your work, so crafts are a natural area of expertise.

Meanwhile Uranus at the Sept 11th eclipse strikes a chord deep in your mind that you just have to make some major life changes. Be as daring, original and exciting as you can be. Uranus acts like lightening and this added to the eclipse effect is dazzling. Jupiter moves forward through the 4th sector of your chart -your home - plus Mars is opposite, so a change of residence is very likely.

Libra
Saturn is now transiting in the 12th sector of your birthchart; the most unconscious area of your chart. This is a time to clear up the past and finish old projects. You might find that you withdraw to reflect on your life during the next two and a half years. This is an ideal time to meditate and attune yourself to your inner world. Recognise that the 'hidden enemies' traditionally associated with the 12th house is just your ego, that small part of you that wants to sabotage your success and your happiness.

Mercury in your sign most of the month gives you opportunities to network and bring people together, especially foreigners. You'll be attracted to groups who will love what you have to offer.  A slight word of caution is that you could experience a disappointment around 21st when Neptune - the planet of illusion - opposes your ruling planet Venus. If you met someone new on the 25th August they could let you down. A promise could be broken. This could reawaken memories of past disappointments in your life. Remember what that was and take time to heal it.

Scorpio
Saturn now asks that you integrate your individual self with some kind of group- that you truly join a team. Working alone will no longer suit you. If you rise to this challenge and take on extra responsibilities you will be rewarded. This is a more successful period than it was twenty eight years ago as you now have the experience and maturity that is necessary to make events work out well for you.

This month the eclipse in the same area of your chart so watch out for friction with friends and groups that you no longer feel serve you. Ask if this is ego (if you're in a fight then it is) -or if it really is time to move on. Ask for a sign and wait 3 days for an answer which is clear.

Sagittarius
Saturn moves into your 10th house, and like the mountain goat (the symbol of Capricorn which Saturn rules) that's where it most likes to be. It's time to reach for the top in your career. As Jupiter is also in your sign, this promises to be a harvest time. You will be rewarded for all the effort and work you've put in over the last twenty eight years.

In your professional life its time to take on extra responsibilities. If you have ambitions to lead this can be a period of great achievement. Its time to make your mark on the world. However be aware that in this time your job and your status can be so all consuming that you can neglect your personal relationships.

Capricorn
Now Saturn is in your 9th house you are feeling that all your effort has been worth it. You are approaching a peak time in your life. You've been though a period of great self discovery at the deepest level.

Keep an open mind to new understandings and be prepared to change your belief system during the next two and a half years and you'll do well. You'll be attracted to subjects that relate to higher consciousness, philosophies and Oneness; with the laws of the Universe. You can also be taking courses that advance your higher education in a practical sense. For you that's business and management.

Aquarius
This transit focuses you on finances and joint possessions. You can't count on others for material backing. Banks might refuse you a loan or partners will be unable to support you. You have  to come to terms with other peoples values.

If you surrender your will, you'll be truly intimate with others. It's a time of deep inner transformation. (Do some research and ask Capricorns what the last two and a half years has been like for them.) Partnerships that have stood the test of the last two and a half years will have helped you gain maturity. You will still be learning about relationships but on a deeper level. Co-operation is the name of the game.

Pisces
Relationships will be all important to you over the next two and a half years and a time in your life when you are being asked to commit. People you are close to will test you and partnerships will reveal their flaws. Marriages can - and do - break up with this transit.

The world is our mirror and so others are our projection. If you have intense feelings against someone they are showing you the parts of yourself that you have buried. This is called the shadow and if you don't work with it you can come a cropper. Be willing to forgive yourself and others and you'll come through with flying colours.

Aries
This period is a time to put your daily life, your work and your health in order. Your job will be the place where you need to put in effort but you need to learn to conserve your energies and discern what is most important. Prioritise.

Arians are known for keeping fit but can burn the candle at both ends. How well do you care for yourself and your health? Treat your body as a tool that needs care and attention to work well. You are being prepared for the time when you will be stepping onto the stage of life and the world. See it as a time of training for the success that will come in a couple of years.

Taurus
The 5th house in the birthchart is one of creativity, love affairs, children and play. Saturn comes along and play becomes work. A love affair with an older person is likely. Children can seem like a burden. However though its not a time to take risks it can be immensely productive.

Birthing a baby is a labour of love. Long, hard, tough and- in the end - painful it also brings huge reward. Keep disciplined and recognise this as a period when you are undergoing a long gestation. You are being asked to create something that you love, which is an expression of you. Keep faith and keep the goal in sight.

Gemini
This is a period when the very foundation of your life needs building up and strengthening. Your domestic life is all important as it reflects your inner security and your career. You can play a parental role for someone during this time, but be aware not to get caught in the role of the father and create co-dependency.

The 4th house is your inner world, your sanctum, so any childhood issues that are unresolved need clearing up. Psychotherapy with a spiritual basis is highly recommended. It's a time of building new beginnings so get off to a good start.

Cancer
Saturn now transits through your third house of communication. Saturn can bring maturity and study, so this is an ideal time to learn how your mind works on a daily basis. What do you think about and focus on during the day? What words do you use? Are you coming from a place of joy or a place of negativity? If the latter is true then the patterns of your mind that shape your attitude need changing. Learning NLP will be very useful as the power of the mind is immense.

From our experiences we create our belief systems and as a sign Cancer is connected to the past. Now is the time to change your mind and your attitudes and therefore change your world. We create our reality through our thoughts and this is a time to create wisely.

Leo
Saturn transits through your 2nd house which is about the physical. Its how we earn money and also our values. What is really important to you? What do you value?

The text books say you can feel financially insecure during this period. Make sure that you don't let fear of losing money control your life. It's good to be careful and economical but not to get obsessed. If you give into fear you will start to contract and that increases the lack. People sense fear and move away.

Instead recognise that material possessions aren't the most important things in life. Its a good time to clear out any possessions that are old and broken and make space for those things which have a place in your heart.

This is a time to invest in yourself. Connect with books, speakers and workshops which inspire you and which increase your sense of self worth. You are a star.
