Neptune is the key to our creativity. It rules the pineal gland, known as the Third eye.

Like all planets it has its dark side. When there is disillusion and no vision we can succumb to the temporary high offered by drugs and alcohol. We give in to our indulgences which can become our addictions. This is the place where we become a victim as we take on the role of the martyr and sacrifice ourselves.

Sacrifice
In our childhood we see a member of our famly in trouble and leave our centre to try to save them. The problem here is its as if they were drowning and we jump in to rescue them - but we can't swim. We get fused with them, which means we have no boundaries. And that leads to us being in sacrifice. Healers often have this pattern and can suffer from burnout.
