Pluto challenges us to transform our lives -easier said than done!
It forces us to prune, to purge and eliminate old habits to make way for a new, more rewarding way of living.
The process isn't necessarily an easy one, as most of us cling tenaciously to the comfort offered by habitual patterns, and are rather scared of new paths. Pluto shows us in which areas of our lives we need to grow, and to a certain extent whether we're likely to find the process of growing painful or joyful.
The Large Hadron Collider is the ultimate symbol of Pluto. It is underground, it is immensely powerful and it will be recreating the Big Bang. Pluto is located in the Kuiper Belt where the debris from the Big Bang is. This is where the centaurs - new astronomical bodies such as Chiron and Nessus come from.
The Large Hadron Collider is an enormous project. It involves 8,000 physicists from over 85 countries as well as hundreds of universities and laboratories. The first beams were circulated on the very day after Pluto turned direct (Sept 10th 2008).
Pluto now makes its final move through the last degrees of Sagittarius. The fiery and expansive energy of Sagittarius has ben partly responisble for the overspending of resources and rise in credit cards in the last 13 years.
Pluto will make its move into the pragmatic business sign of Capricorn on November 27th 2008 where it stays for the next 15 years until 2023.
Pluto will be especially significant at the New Moon on December 27th 2008 when it will oppose Mars. That symbolises an immense power struggle and conflict. |
