As the new year begins with the violence in Kenya and the assassination
of Benazir Bhutto, a powerful woman leader, it is sad that as a
world, we are still fighting.
I have just finished reading 'Conversations
with God: Book Two' by Neale Donald Walsch. In it is the proposal
of One World government, which seems like an unbelievable idea.
Then it explains how the disparate states in the USA with their different laws became united as one country.
This year marks a distinct change in the alignment
of planetary energy into a more grounded business cycle which began
in 2000 and lasts for the next 13 years. Planets can be viewed as
a reflection of the consciousness of our Earth, so this is very important
for us all. (Pluto which represents huge power, wealth, the world's
underground resources, transformation and the unconscious will change
sign into Capricorn this month. More about this on my astrology website
January Newsletter, link below.)
To be One World means we have to recognise each
other as one big family. That concept is difficult to grasp, so lets
break it down and ask instead - how well do you get along with your
own family? Do you love them, accept them and see them as equals?
Or have you divorced them, so you only see them once a year out of
duty?
Are you in a fight with a member of your family?
And most importantly, are you fighting their authority?
This is important because to live our purpose we
must have power, passion and authority.
LEADERSHIP AND AUTHORITY
CONFLICT
All purpose has a sense of leadership, of being in service. It's
when we make someone else more important than ourself. And it takes
courage to stand up and take the position of leadership. So often
a leader gets attacked.
If you attack leaders, then - sooner or later-
if you take a leadership position, you will be attacked. This is
an authority conflict and in any authority conflict we stop listening.
For instance, in the family, if mother takes over
the position of power and authority the family will be thrown out
of balance. It could be that father didn't take his place because
of his fear of being attacked and his desire to be 'the good guy'.
Men who do this in relationships can make women the bad guy.
We all need to be willing to take our place and
give up our authority conflicts. This is easier said than done for
many reasons.
POWER
Power is a quality that is vital to focus on. Ask yourself : Who
in the world do you see in a position of power? Allow the first
person's name to pop into your mind. Now ask yourself, what do
you think of them? Quickly, without editing, write down the first
3 qualities you see in that person.
When I did this the first person I thought of was
Rupert Murdoch. I saw him as dominating, greedy and ruthless.
How you see them is how you think you'd be if you
had a position of power! Our judgement on them would be a judgement
on yourself that you project out.
So make this a time to reflect on the issue of
power. True authority means to be the author of your life. The fight
is the distraction that the ego uses to keep us from taking up our
true position of power in the world.
If you need help in healing issues with your family
then you are not alone! The family conspiracy is the second major
problem that Chuck Spezzano identifies as holding us back from fulfilling
our purpose:-
"Our family is the blueprint for our purpose.
The trap of Family Conspiracies is one of the most devastating
that the ego has devised. It sets Relationship, Victim, and Oedipal
Conspiracies in place. As a result, it is easy to fall into dissociated
independence with our families, which stems from sacrificial/fusion
roles. Our fear of our greatness and purpose leads us to avoid
them by falling into the Family Conspiracy."
Its vitally important for us and for the world
to heal our judgments on our family. If you want to live your soul's
purpose and be liberated from the family conspiracy then I strongly
recommend that you invest in yourself and learn about family dynamics.
A Psychology of Vision workshop is the fast track to learning.
If you can't get to one (or even if you can) then read 'The Conspiracy
Deck' by Chuck Spezzano to find out more. Link at the bottom of
this newsletter. I also offer personal coaching on the phone, see

with warmest wishes for a very happy and peaceful New Year,

A
HUMBLE MAN WITH A BIG HEART
Watch the faces of the judges as this man walks out on the stage.
You can almost see what they are thinking as they pre-judge him
based on his looks and the fact that he's a cell phone salesman.
Then he starts to sing.
His story is of someone who was bullied and with
low self esteem. A man who had little faith in himself. Paul said: “I
don’t think they were expecting very much. I’m a bit
short and overweight and had a cheap old suit on and the hairdresser
had used a number two on my hair instead of a four so it made me
look a bit bald." But somehow his love of singing and connection
with his heart carried him forward. He became a star.
