Full Moon in Leo- Leadership from the Heart
The Full Moon is in Leo opposite the Aquarius stellium of Pluto, Mars, Sun, Venus and Mercury. It’s on Sunday February 1st at 22.09 GMT. The ruler of Leo is the Sun and the Sun god Apollo. Leo is the most creative sign, and promises strength and good leadership. The good news is to be aware of Jupiter exalted in Cancer. It shines brightly and is visible in the night sky. As its retrograde its closer to the earth.
Jupiter is The Truth Sayer and rules the Law. Use the power of your mind to Pray for Peace and Truth in this beleaguered world. Archangel Michael rules Sundays and he wields the Sword of Truth.
However the huge number of planets in Aquarius tell a different story.
That’s a huge pressure and focus on the sign of group energy and community represented by Aquarius. Witness the riots and demonstrations world wide, especially in Minnesota in the US and in Iran. Mars only goes through a sign approx. every 2 years which makes this stellium in Aquarius more dynamic and forceful.
We have all been travelling though the last month of these group of planets contacting Pluto, God of the Underworld. Pluto rules the unconscious. This month sees a major shift as the personal planets start moving into Pisces, the sign of compassion ruled by both Jupiter and Neptune. This is especially significant when Venus enters Pisces on February 10th.
Buddhists Walk for Peace-A Pilgrimage
Also most importantly now in focus is the Walk for Peace.
The Walk for Peace is a long-distance pilgrimage in the United States initiated by Buddhist monks from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, Texas, to Washington, D.C., promoting peace, compassion, and nonviolence.
The walk began on October 26, 2025, and is planned to span approximately 2,300 miles (3,700 km) in 108 days. They are currently expected to arrive in D.C. on February 10. They are accompanied with a rescue dog they have adopted called Aloka which means Light.
The Solar Eclipse
The Annular Solar Eclipse occurs at the next New Moon on February 17th. Its not visible in the UK. The Sun and Moon are in Aquarius at 28 degrees, the North Node is in Pisces next to Venus. Eclipses are important for the world events. Bernadette Brady in her book The Eagle and the Lark describes this Eclipse which is part of the Saros cycle 10 North. Its good advice:-
There is a very strong emphasis on communication and, at the same time, frustrating or inhibiting events may come into the person’s life via news, paperwork or a young person. The person may feel tired and drained and this is therefore a good time to take things quietly and work through the difficulties one at a time.
- Sun in Aquarius. Into Pisces on February 18th.
- Venus in Aquarius into Pisces on February 10th.
- Mercury in Aquarius. Moves into Pisces on February 6th. Goes retrograde on February 26th until March 21st
- Full Moon February 1st at 13 degrees Leo at 10.09pm.
- Mars in Aquarius all month.
- New Moon in Aquarius on February 17th at 28 degrees. This is an Annular Eclipse.
- Jupiter in Cancer retrograde. Goes direct on March 11th
- Saturn moves into Aries on February 14th.
- Chiron in Aries is now direct.
- Uranus is now retrograde in Taurus. It goes direct on February 4th. Enters Gemini on 26th April.
- Neptune is now direct. Entered Aries on 26th January.
- Pluto is now direct in Aquarius.

However now it is firmly in Aquarius so is a major transit.

2026 is the most Amazing Year of Change and New Beginnings!
What is so rare is that the Ares point is activated by both Saturn and Neptune forming a rare conjunction on February 20th. This is a major conjunction affecting world events. It last happened in November 1989 in the sign of Capricorn.
The Key Transits in 2026
- Jupiter stays in its exalted sign of Cancer until 1st July when it enters Leo.
- Saturn enters Aries on 13th February.
- Uranus moves direct on 4th February then re-enters Gemini on 27th April.
- Neptune moves into Aries on 27th January where it stays all year.
- Pluto is now firmly in Aquarius all year.
- The nodal axis and the eclipses will move backward into Aquarius and Leo.
Cardinal signs are connected to the 4 seasons of the year, the turning points. Jupiter stays in the cardinal sign of Cancer as does Mars in Capricorn and then it will be in Cancer later in the year.
Mars travels through 8 signs starting the year exalted in Capricorn. Venus goes retrograde on 3rd October in Scorpio, when it retrogrades back into Libra.
