Making Big Plans

Jupiter is the planet connected with Truth and Pluto is Power. Pluto is a very slow moving planet- it takes approx. 248 years to orbit through the zodiac. It moved into Saturn’s sign of Capricorn in 2008 and stays there until 2023.

It joined Jupiter in 2008 in the last degrees of Sagittarius, and so began a new cycle. The current cycle is far more important than ever before, because this Jupiter-Pluto conjunction took place close to the Galactic Center.

Jupiter move fast and takes just 12 years to encircle the whole zodiac. It is the biggest planet in our Solar System and as such represents expansion, support and improvement in the area it transits in your chart.

It is now moving through the earth sign of  Taurus, the sign that relates to physical beauty, sensuality, money and values. It is our self worth and as such the money we earn.

Jupiter isn’t a planet of money, rather its the principle of abundance and prosperity. With Pluto shown as Beyond Illusion, this reveals how Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth, of a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Unconscious Patterns

Pluto is the God of the Underworld. As such, it is the unconscious and all that is buried and hidden including buried treasure. It governs the Mafia and the Secret Service. Watch the Lord of The Rings series to see how power can corrupt- only Bilbo Baggins who is pure of heart can survive.

It rules transformation. Now in an earth sign it is digging deep and excavating all that is hidden and buried. As it travels through Capricorn- the  sign that rules institutions and business, this is a necessary purging, as we are being asked to clean up our collective act.

The last 2 weeks have seen the extraordinary scandal erupt in the Uk as the Murdoch Empire is crumbling. Rupert Murdoch is said to be one of the most powerful men in the world, he has certainly been dominating the media for the longest time.

It’s ironic that the recent trine – a positive flow from Jupiter to Pluto has brought about his downfall. This combination of planets is the signature of Emperors and Press Barons, and he has the conjunction in his chart. However Jupiter is the law, the moral justice of the King of the Gods, which is now being brought to bear on Rupert Murdoch.
