Full Moon in Scorpio- Awakening Your Personal Power
The Full Moon is on Monday May 12th at 17. 55 BST in London UK at 22 degrees Scorpio. The Sun in Taurus is close to Uranus in the constellation of the Pleiades. Scorpio is a water sign ruled by both Mars and Pluto and is highly emotional.
Scorpio symbolises deep intense emotions and also transformation. Unlike any other sign it has 3 symbols, the Scorpion, the Eagle and the Phoenix. This is a time to evoke the Phoenix arising from the ashes to be reborn!
Affirmations for Transformation and Release
- I surrender control and trust in the flow of transformation.
- I let go of past wounds and make space for healing.
- I am ready to rise from the ashes, renewed and empowered.
- I reclaim my power with grace and intention.

However the most difficult aspect is still Mars in Leo opposite Pluto. Plus Mercury is opposite Pluto.
This can be anger that has been pushed down and erupt in rage. Its the volcano! Its the Shadow of self attack.
Healing Self Attack
Attack can come in various guises. Self attack can come through eczema- an inflammation of the skin, an accident such as a fall, a dream of violence which is a nightmare or having an argument with a friend or family member. Attack comes from the ego which wants to keep us small.
In my work I use Process Cards by my teacher and mentor Chuck Spezzano. My favorite is The Healing Cards- The Conspiracy Deck. Today I turned to this deck for guidance on the issues and the Conspiracy that is hidden underneath the surface at this Full Moon in Scorpio.
Chuck Spezzano writes “Any chronic problem set up by our ego is potentially a conspiracy. A conspiracy is a fool-proof trap, but it is not God-proof.
Once we become aware of our conspiracies, we are well on our way to moving past them. God’s Will for us is perfect happiness. This does not include conspiracies. Our true will for ourselves is perfect happiness.
This does not include conspiracies, because our will is aligned with God’s Will.
When our aspiration becomes stronger than our fear, we will have what we desire.
Heaven will help heal the fear at the root of any conspiracy. When we are willing for the next stage in our life, it will appear. Willingness cuts through fear.

The healing principle is that there is always a gift and a healing that the conspiracy hides.
Chuck writes:-Self-Value is a form of self-love. When we have it, we respect all others because we respect ourselves. Lack of Self-Value has led to some of the most heinous acts in the world. These could never have happened with the open heart that Self-Value brings.
When we have Self-Value, we do not judge. When we have Self-Value, we do not attack ourselves or others.
Where there is Self-Value, there could never be a war, or even a fight. Self-Value means that we never have to prove or sacrifice ourselves. As a result we can receive all that we deserve for what we do. Today is a good day to focus on loving oneself and extending that love to others.

The Card Apollo is also highly relevant at this Full Moon in Scorpio. Apollo is the Sun God. The Sun is the Source of our personal power. The card focuses us on our Gifts and Strengths. Venus is The Warrioress and The Divine as it joins Neptune
Venus is now a Morning Star as it is more than 10 degrees ahead of the Sun. It is now in Aries the sign of the Warrior. It joined Neptune in Aries on May 2nd however it is still close. This is the opportunity to connect with Grace, with The Divine and the power within. Aries as the first sign is the Spark that ignites the fire.
Mars is in Leo
Mars was last in Leo on November 4th until January 6th 2025, so we have had a weak Mars ruled by the Moon all year until now.
Leo rules the heart so Mars in Leo is ambitious and thrives when leading, inspiring, or being in the spotlight. Recognition motivates Mars in Leo. Its highly creative and full of passion. We now get the go ahead and revive what may have started last year. Now is the time to shine.

Start a dream journal and watch the news for when Saturn moves into Aries. This can indicate Spiritual Warrior Energy. Listen to your dreams. It is the biggest planet in our solar system and Jupiter is Zeus, King of the Gods. It brings good luck, expansiveness and the feel good factor.
Pluto is now direct. Pluto is an outer planet and affects world events. It has now ended its journey in the earth sign of Capricorn. Pluto becomes more personal if it connects with one of inner planets in your chart. These are the Sun, Moon, Mercury Venus and Mars. It is activated at mid-life when it makes a square to itself around the age of 38. It moved into Aquarius last year from January 21st until September 2nd 2024 when it retrograded back in Capricorn. However now it is firmly in Aquarius so is a major transit.
