October Full Moon in Aries-Go for it!
The Full Moon is in Aries with the Sun in Libra. It is on Tuesday 7th October at 4.47am BST.
Mercury has now just moved into Scorpio intensifying the energy of Mars in Scorpio ahead of the Sun when it moves into Scorpio on October 23rd.
Mercury is in a challenging square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius. Venus is also challenged by an opposition from Saturn in Pisces. So both the personal planets that signify relationships are compromised. Uranus wants freedom and independence. Pluto takes us deep into the underworld and the unconscious. This is shadow work. Power struggles ensue.
Mercury is the planet to watch in the weeks ahead as it moves through Scorpio and joins Mars in Scorpio on October 19th. Scorpio co-rules Pluto, the symbol of buried power and taboos. Conspiracies can be exposed and the truth -focused on fellow water sign Jupiter in Cancer -can lead the way forward.
- Sun in Libra until October 23rd then in Scorpio.
- Venus in Virgo then into Libra on October 13th.
- Mercury into Scorpio on October 6th. Into Sagittarius on October 29th.
- Full Moon October 7th at 14 degrees Aries.
- Mars in Scorpio, a sign that it co-rules, on September 22nd. Mars is a two year orbit so this is a great opportunity for everyone who has a planet in Scorpio.
- New Moon October 21st at 28 degrees Libra. This is the celebration of Diwali. Avoid starting anything new on this day.
- Jupiter in Cancer all month.
- Saturn is now retrograde. Went back into Pisces on September 1st.
- Uranus is now retrograde from September 6th.
- Neptune is now retrograde in Aries. It returns to Pisces on October 22nd.
- Pluto is now retrograde in Aquarius for the long haul. It goes direct on October 14th

It moved into Aquarius last year from January 21st until September 2nd 2024 when it retrograded back in Capricorn. However now it is firmly in Aquarius so is a major transit.
