This is a Super Blue Moon eclipse
The blue moon is used when there are 2 full moons in one calendar month. Supermoons happen every year and this is the third in a row that started in December. Total lunar eclipses can also happen every year. What is special is that all three are occurring at the same time.
The moon represents the public and emotions. Full moons are always concerned with relationships, as the Sun and Moon are in opposition.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow), so emotions may be more volatile than usual.

The actual position of the moon at the lunar eclipse is in the sidereal sign of Cancer. Fellow Vedic astrologer Sam Geppi calls this ‘The total eclipse of the heart” and advises us not to fall into the pit of despair.
I quote “This will be a lunar eclipse in the sign of Cancer, using sidereal zodiac, the zodiac of Vedic astrology. Cancer is the zodiac sign related to nurturing, mothering, and selfless love.
This eclipse is literally like the song “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler, with the moon being plunged into darkness, and into its own sign of feeling and emotional depth. It’s not a great time to make relationship decisions, or decisions with other intimates or family members for several days after the eclipse. You may be triggered emotionally for several days before and after this eclipse.”
Today is a day for healing, so go out tonight and gaze at this Super Moon and be inspired. The eclipse energy last for 3 days. The eclipse degree-11 degrees Aquarius/Leo is activated for the next month. The only planet to activate this degree is Mercury. This happens on 7th February, so be aware of messages you receive on that day.

Saturn in Capricorn
Saturn moves into Capricorn on December 20th 2017. It’s a planet of major importance, but has a bad reputation! However Steven shares how it can be used positively. He writes:-
“Saturn is classically viewed as the “bad” planet, the “Greater Malefic.” Don’t believe it! Used correctly, its transits can bring dignity and self-respect.
Essentially, Saturn is about maturity. The part of your life that’s being touched by the Saturnian energies needs to grow up…which, despite the lies we’re all told, is not a process one mysteriously completes on one’s twenty-first birthday. There is an area of your life where you have simply outgrown yourself, at least inwardly.
The task now is to adjust your outward circumstances to reflect the maturity you’ve already attained psychically and invisibly. It is a material problem, not fundamentally a psychological one. To succeed, there is first a need to face reality squarely, even if it’s unsavory. Then to make a hard choice…that is, to reach an emotional bottom line and not be crippled by your awareness of the ambiguities in your situation.
And finally, in a spirit of commitment, persistence, and self-discipline, to claim those circumstances in your life which reflect the hard inner work you’ve been doing over the last few years.
