Full Moon in Pisces joins Saturn
The Full Moon in Pisces is ruled by Neptune, also in Pisces. Pisces is the most sensitive sign. Its the last water sign in the zodiac and the sign of the Empath, the Dreamer Archetype. Neptune connects us to music, to the movies that lift us into higher realms. We are transported to another reality. That’s why its especially important to recognise that you are highly sensitive. You need to take time out to restore your soul. Keeping a dream journal is one way to commune with your unconscious and the world of your imagination and long lost memories.
Pisces is the most idealistic sign, poetic, compassionate, spiritual sign and inspired by symbols, mythology, the transcendent. Many Pisceans are artists, musicians and actors.

Retrogrades
When planets are retrograde they are closer to the earth so they can be more important. Every year the planets from Jupiter to Pluto go retrograde for many months so its not unusual. Mercury does it 3 times a year. Mars every 2 years approx, and Venus approx. every 18 months. The most personal planet Mercury advises us to hand write what we want to manifest as Mercury travels through its exalted sign of Virgo. This is a great for editing, revising and reorganising your communications. Filing is promoted as is clearing your emails!

This month sees most planets – apart from the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars being retrograde. Mercury went retrograde in Virgo on August 23rd. Uranus went retrograde on August 29th. Then on September 4th Jupiter will go retrograde in Taurus.
Venus is now a Morning Star. It entered Leo on June 5th. It then disappeared below the horizon. One key date was on August 13th when Venus joined the Sun in what is called the Sacred Marriage. On August 19th it reappeared as the Morning Star rising before dawn.

Chiron in Aries- the archetype of the Wounded Healer – is activated at this Full Moon in Pisces as it forms an inconjunct- a difficult energy- to Mercury in Virgo. This happens 3 times when Mercury moves forward.

- September 16th Mercury is retrograde in Virgo. It goes direct on September 16th. Virgo is where it is exalted. On October 5th it changes sign into Libra.
- September 23rd Sun into Libra at the Autumn Equinox-equal day and night.

EARTH SIGNS Jupiter moved into Taurus on May 16th for an entire year
Jupiter the greater benefic goes retrograde so look where that is in your birth chart. It stations at 15 degrees Taurus. It moved into Taurus for an entire year on May 16th until May 26th 2024. This is wonderful news for Taurus and Scorpio. Jupiter is the planet of faith, faith in life, that life is worth living. It takes 12 years to go around the zodiac, so look back 12 years to understand its influence in your chart. It is the biggest planet in our solar system and Jupiter is Zeus, King of the Gods. It brings good luck, expansiveness and the feel good factor. It truly is the planet of abundance, especially now its in the earth sign of Taurus.
Taurus is an earth sign ruled by Venus, and it promotes all activities connected to the earth such as gardening, music, farming, art, material wealth and all good things on the physical plane. It promotes cleaning and using Marie Kondo’s methods of letting go of anything that doesn’t bring you joy. Taurus is also compatible with the emotional water signs of Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio. Fellow earth signs Virgo and Capricorn also benefit from Jupiter’s gaze.
EARTH SIGNS Uranus is now retrograde in Taurus activating 23 degrees Taurus to 19 degrees Taurus. Change is what Uranus needs. Work with it. Make some practical changes in your life and use the Mercury retrograde period in fellow earth sign Virgo to throw out anything that doesn’t bring you joy. Clear those cupboards!
WATER SIGNS Neptune The Dreamer is now retrograde. In Pisces it favours all the water signs. Watch your visions and dreams, get creative and meditate. We now have an opportunity to bring our dreams into manifestation. Trust your intuition. This is especially significant at this Full Moon.
One key word for Neptune is compassion. However it can also indicate illusion, deceit, scandal, loss, drowning, a feeling of being overwhelmed and lost. If you’ve been feeling exhausted, depressed, over-burdened and with little energy then I recommend taking time out and being kind to yourself. Take comfort and know that “this too will pass”.
Bach Flower remedies such as Elm, Sweet Chestnut and Oak may be helpful. Also for shock Rock Rose or Rescue Remedy.
EARTH SIGNS Pluto is now retrograde and moved back into Capricorn on June 11th. Pluto is an outer planet and affects world events. However it becomes more personal if it connects with one of inner planets in your chart. These are the Sun, Moon, Mercury Venus and Mars. It is activated at mid-life when it makes a square to itself around the age of 38. It moved into Aquarius briefly on March 23rd until June 11th 2023. However it only transits 0 degrees 22 mins Aquarius so not a major transit.

The cycle of Venus is associated with the ancient Sumerian myth of Inanna, the Queen of Heaven who, as a Morning Star, descends into the Underworld to visit her sister Ereskigal.
In August she disappeared from the evening sky as she descended once more into the Underworld. Venus joined the Sun on August 13th, and was reborn as the Morning Star on August 19th when she was 10 degrees ahead of the Sun.
The Shamanic Cycle is when each month the Moon joins Venus, which relates to the 7 chakras. As Inanna descends she is stripped of her power and her vestments at these 7 Gates, and then killed by her sister.
We have just finished the Shamanic Cycle of Capricorn which began in January 2022.
In August 2023 we start a whole new Shamanic ‘overtone’ of Venus in Leo. This last occurred in August 2015 until April 2017.
When Venus is retrograde she starts a new cycle in only five signs of the Zodiac in a lifetime!
