Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse
Have you been unusually tired needing more sleep than usual?
The New Moon is in Aquarius stellium of Mars with Pluto. However Venus, the North Node and Mercury are all in Pisces. It’s on Tuesday February 17th at 12.01 GMT. The ruler of Aquarius is Uranus along with the traditional ruler Saturn.
The Sun enters Pisces on February 18th at 15.52 which starts a turning point as Saturn and Neptune join in Aries on February 20th.
A tough month
We have all been travelling though the last month of the personal planets in Aquarius contacting Pluto, God of the Underworld. Pluto rules the unconscious. However this month sees a major shift as the personal planets are moving into Pisces, the sign of compassion ruled by both Jupiter and Neptune. This is especially significant as Venus entered Pisces on February 10th. Mercury in Pisces goes retrograde on February 26th. It makes a positive contact to Jupiter 3 times.
This week has been really difficult with the Annual Eclipse followed by the Sun moving into Pisces and Saturn and Neptune joining at 0 degrees Aries on Friday February 20th.
Neptune can represent scandal and the news in the UK is full of this right now. Saturn is Lord of Karma among other attributes.
Scandal and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
The day after the Sun moved into Pisces on February 18th Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested and was in custody on suspicion of misconduct in public office for 12 hours. His birthday was on February 19th at 0 degrees Pisces age 66.
Andrew has a difficult chart especially as Pluto has been transiting over his Sun. In both western and his vedic chart Jupiter is transiting in his 12th house, which can represent confinement/prison. (It can also be enlightenment.) In his vedic chart he also has both the Sun and Mercury in his 8th house and the Moon weak in Scorpio. However he does have an exalted Mars (his military career) and Jupiter in its own sign of Sagittarius.
The Solar Eclipse
The Annular Solar Eclipse occurs at the New Moon on February 17th. Its not visible in the UK. The Sun and Moon are in Aquarius at 28 degrees, the North Node is in Pisces next to Venus. Eclipses are important for the world events. Bernadette Brady in her book The Eagle and the Lark describes this Eclipse which is part of the Saros cycle 10 North. Its good advice:-
There is a very strong emphasis on communication and, at the same time, frustrating or inhibiting events may come into the person’s life via news, paperwork or a young person. The person may feel tired and drained and this is therefore a good time to take things quietly and work through the difficulties one at a time.
- New Moon in Aquarius on February 17th at 28 degrees. This is an Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse.
- Sun in Aquarius. Into Pisces on February 18th.
- Venus in Pisces. Into Aries on March 6th. Now visible as an Evening Star.
- Mercury in Pisces. Goes retrograde on February 26th and stays in Pisces until March 21st
- Full Moon March 3rd, a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
- Mars in Aquarius all month. Into Pisces on March 2nd.
- Jupiter in Cancer retrograde. Goes direct on March 11th. The good news is that Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. It shines brightly and is visible in the night sky. As its retrograde its closer to the earth. Jupiter is The Truth Sayer and rules the Law. Use the power of your mind to Pray for Peace and Truth in this beleaguered world.
- Saturn moves into Aries on February 14th.
- Chiron in Aries is now direct.
- Uranus is now direct in Taurus. Enters Gemini on 26th April 2026.
- Neptune is now direct. Entered Aries on 26th January.
- Pluto is now direct in Aquarius.

AIR SIGNS Sun, Mars and Pluto in Aquarius.
Pluto is an outer planet and affects world events. Pluto becomes more personal if it connects with one of inner planets in your chart. These are the Sun, Moon, Mercury Venus and Mars. It is activated at mid-life when it makes a square to itself around the age of 38. It moved into Aquarius last year from January 21st until September 2nd 2024 when it retrograded back in Capricorn. However now it is firmly in Aquarius so is a major transit.
