Capricorn New Moon December 29th 2016

We are in the dark of the moon as we approach the end of the year. It’s been a tough year and at last the difficult square of Saturn- cold hard reality- has moved away from Neptune- our connection to Oneness but also dreams and illusions.

At this Capricorn New Moon Jupiter-the King of the Gods is opposing the rebel planet Uranus. Freedom is the theme as we approach the New Year.

Personal freedom can come at a price, it can involve separation and being the Outsider. We can become disconnected from our hearts in the fight, the campaign for Truth.

All planets and the 12 signs have a shadow. Sagittarius and its planet Jupiter has the shadow of judgement, that God is on their side.

This theme is showing itself on the world stage.

Is this theme showing up in your life?

When we get caught in believing that we are right -and therefore someone else is wrong- a fight will ensue.

Rather consider the expression ‘would you rather be right or happy’.

If we give up our position of being right- which doesn’t make us wrong- then a dialogue can commence. One piece of advice I was given by a wise teacher Lency Spezzano, would be to open a difficult conversation with the words ‘I may be wrong about this, however this is how I see the situation’.

 Letting Go of the Past

The other vital theme at this New Moon, is the transit of Mars joining Neptune and the South Node in Pisces. This is the karmic axis.  The shadow of Pisces is being in sacrifice and the role of the Victim. Now is the time for letting go of any story of heartbreak that keeps us from moving forward. My spiritual coaching consultations can help you release unconscious patterns.

Opening the 6th Chakra

Venus is joining the Moon on January 2nd in the last degree of Aquarius opening the 6th Chakra. Aquarius is the sign of humanity, of the group. It also is a sign ruled by Uranus, so has the energy of revolution, and as it’s an air sign, of our ability- or resistance- to change our minds. Read more about Aquarius and its myth here from my book>

The book ‘Anatomy of the Spirit’ by Caroline Myss, she calls this the chakra of Intuitive Sight and Wisdom. It connects to the sacrament of ordination, the priesthood. Her words resonated deep in my soul, so I share them with you.

She writes:-

“Ordination honours the truth that each person is capable of making deeply significant contributions to the lives of others, not just through their profession, but more important, through the quality of the person they become.

The sacrament of ordination symbolically seeks to recognise the contributions of our spirits to others lives, more than the contribution of our tasks.”

“Just let go. Let go of how you thought your life should be, and embrace the life that is trying to work its way into your consciousness.”

Letting go of the past can be the hardest healing principle to do alone as the ego really want us to stay stuck. It fears the unknown- the future.

blessings for a wondrous New Moon, Pam xxx
