Welcome in the New Year with the New Moon Eclipse 4th January 2011 8.17am GMT. The New Moon on January 4th was a partial Solar Eclipse. Although its back to work for many, ideally this is a time for inner work, for reflection and meditation. At 14 degrees of Capricorn the New moon eclipse is square to Saturn in Libra. As Capricorn is naturally ruled by Saturn, this is always the time of year when we look back at the year that has passed, and make our resolutions to do better this year. New Year resolutions fail because they are generally full of ‘should’s’ rather than inspired by our Higher Mind and self love.
